The True Italian Gelato in Lourdes

From July the 29th to August the 3rd, Gelato makers coming from Dolomiti and the north of Italy will gather in Lourdes in order to support a worthy initiative: the proceeds from the selling of Gelato will be donated for the publishing of Andrea Brustolon's new book  "Georges-Fernand Dunot De Saint-Maclour, Il Dottore della Grotta - ndr. The Doctor of the Cave".

 

Cadore and the Zoldo Valley are known as the "Land of Gelato", not becuase it was invented here but becuase in the late XIX century expert Gelato makers leaved this place in order to start widespreading the noble and genuine art of Gelato all over the world. The secret of Gelato is the selection and artisanal proceedings of some simple ingredients: fresh cream and milk, sugar, fresh eggs, vanilla beans and fruits.

BABBI, with a more than 60 year-experience and passion for Gelato, will participate in this initiative with its products, whici come from artisanal processes and a true passiona that make it possibile to widespread the most gourmand and exquisite art of the world!
