24th of March: European Artisanal Gelato Day
Promoted by ARTGLACE - the Confederation of European Associations of Gelato Makers - and officialized from the European Parliament, every year, starting from 2013, the 24th of March will be dedicated to the promotion of one of the most beloved Made in Italy product: artisan gelato.
Artglace goal is to organize every year several simultaneous events not only in Italy, but also in other European countries such as Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and Spain, but also Argentina, Canada, India. The objective is the di per la diffusion and promotion of the "artisan gelato " and of the principles and values, cultural and nutritional, linked to this product.
This year, Artglace promoted the creation of a special flavor named "European Fantasy" (milk flavor with almonds pralines, variegated with dark chocolate). The price of a cup of this flavor will be the same throughout Europe and the rest of the world among the shops that will join the initiative: 1€.

1 l HD Fresh Milk
150 g Cream
50 g BASE PANNA TOP
30 g Skimmed Milk Powder
200 g Sucrose
35 g Dextrose
Variegate with CIOCCOREAM or FLUID CLASSIC NOISETTE BABBI, PRALINATED MACADAMIA MIX and ALMOND BRITTLE (made with 200 g of roasted almonds, 125 g of sucrose and 40 g of dextrose).
